SELP ASBL (Solidarity for Support and the Fight Against Poverty) firmly believes that a strong community is not built on temporary solutions, but on lasting foundations, such as education.
WHY PRIORITIZE EDUCATION ?
We have placed education at the top of our community priorities because, for us, educating is not just sending a child to school. It is giving the keys to autonomy because by investing in knowledge, we directly fight against poverty, exclusion, and insecurity.
OUR AREAS OF FOCUS IN EDUCATION :
Our actions are concentrated on three essential pillars:
- Access to education for all: We work to reduce the barriers that prevent children, particularly the most vulnerable, from accessing classrooms, especially due to lack of resources.
- Quality of learning: We advocate for and support infrastructures and work to provide the necessary materials for a dignified learning environment.
3. Empowering Youth: We promote training and actions that address the realities and needs of our local communities, particularly young people, and raise their awareness on all issues necessary for building a good society.
